Overview
Chlorophyll is widely found in green plant tissues such as fruits and vegetables, and is combined with proteins in plant cells to form chloroplasts. When the plant cell structure is destroyed or the cells die, chlorophyll is released. Free chlorophyll is very unstable and sensitive to light and heat.
Chlorophyll, as an important photosynthetic pigment in plant photosynthesis, not only exists in land plants, but is also widely distributed in algae and other phytoplankton in water bodies. In water quality monitoring, chlorophyll content has become one of the important indicators for assessing the health status of water bodies and the degree of eutrophication. However, when the chlorophyll content in water bodies increases abnormally, it is often accompanied by a series of environmental problems and health risks.
In addition, the outbreak of blue-green algae can also cause water pollution. We also have sensors to monitor blue-green algae.

Surface water monitoring, oceans, lakes, aquaculture, etc.
